- A miraculous encounter is the only way to describe the instant transformation of Benji’s life. After walking in a blinding darkness for thirty-two years, experiencing the horrors of mental, physical and sexual abuse as a child, she grew into everything she despised and came to the point of suicide. The loneliness that comes with thinking “no one knows, no one cares”, coupled with extreme shame and guilt manifested through violence, caused her total despair. But in an instant, through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, her life was forever and totally changed! God had truly heard her dying mother’s prayer, “God, save my babies!” No doubt, every miserable path of her life led her to Calvary. Benji knows that Calvary is the answer for every living human being. Her loving Jesus has given Benji the ability to teach in a way that is understandable for a child as well as enlightening for a Bible scholar. She is a “preachin’ teacher” who balances humor with a seriousness that causes the listener to be stirred to action.
