Hey, this makes sense....

This morning I laughingly said to a dear friend, "I don't know why the Lord keeps testing me when He knows I am going to make an 'A'." How do I know I'm going to make an 'A', because I have determined that no matter how hard it gets I'm going to praise the Lord!

But you know with all of my best intentions and making a determination to always acknowledge Jesus as the Lord over every situation, I can still rob myself of the fruit that God intended me to produce.

An acquaintance of mine, who was quiet prominent in the field of marketing, wrote a book a few years ago and the book was titled something like this, "What they don't teach you at Harvard." That brings my possibility of failing to mind as I consider the things many of us never learn in the early years of our lives. If I wrote a book I could title it,

"What I never learned when I should have learned it, that's why I'm so messed up now, and as a result I have no confidence or boldness."

I know what you're thinking; "That's not a title, Benji, that's a whole sermon." You are right, but it's actually not a whole sermon. You will get the rest of the sermon if you care enough to say, "Hey, that title is talking about me!"

From the day we came out of the womb, we all had teachers. We observed behaviors, we studied the countenance, we listened as words were spoken and on and on. Most all of us came from backgrounds filled with teachers that we wish we had never had. But we find ourselves emulating even those that we did not respect or want to imitate.

When the Lord termed the salvation experience as being, 'Born Again', that means we start all over brand new. However, all the teachers we had in the past that made us feel worthless, afraid and unsure of ourselves are still haunting us. The Lord said, "How can they know without teachers." You just gotta have teachers that can turn you around and make you into what you really wish you could be.

This is the heartbeat that I have for all humanity that did not have the advantages of a godly stable home life.

Dear Benji,
I recently completed a years worth of cancer treatment after three surgeries. It has been like nothing I have ever experienced before in my life! (that happens to others not me) God walked with me and kept me all along the way. God gave me the strength to continue to work most of the time even though it was very difficult. Pressing into God was the only way I was able survive! My wife was wonderful and so supportive.
I didn’t waist time wondering why. That time was spent thanking God for my healing and supplying all my needs according to HIS riches in glory in Christ Jesus!
My boss told me one day one of our clients asked how I was doing. He replied that I was doing well. The client replied "No how is he doing emotionally and how are his spirits?" My boss replied “I have never seen someone go through what he has and his spirits are so high. He is doing great emotionally”. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Benji, you are a blessing. Thank you and all the people connected for your prayers. They worked. Gods hands are on me & I can now say the work is completed & I am healed!
You never know who God chooses to touch through your trial (testimony) and the depth of that Godly touch. Only God knows.
We should expect God to use us BUT we need to be prepared. Being taught some of the how's is a really good way to be a blessing to others with the tools needed to represent Our God with excellence.

Thank you &
God Bless

Florida Boy
